“There’s nothing more beautiful than a girl smiling”… at least this is what I’ve been told and have heard numerous times over the years. The older I get, the more I believe it. It’s all part of a life well laughed.
The Laughing Cow just launched The Life Well Laughed Project, a wonderful initiative that consumers can get involved with to help support healthy lifestyles for families, so I wanted to share what a life well laughed means to me on a more personal level.
I asked some of my great Facebook friends (http://www.facebook.com/sarahkayhoffmanmarketing) what they thought “A Life Well Laughed” meant. I appreciated the following:
• “There is something truly special about laughter with a longtime friend.” – Missy Moreno Kilmartin
• “My mother is trying to laugh her way thru chemo.” – Kim Gilmore
• “A spouse with a good sense of humor …” – Lisa Johnson
• “Keeping humor about life’s challenges is what has gotten me through
In my experience, the ones you laugh with are the ones you’re closest with and drawn to.” -Muriah Miller Keith
I say “A Life Well Laughed” is:
• Never being afraid to laugh when something is funny.
• Laughing with those you love the most.
• Not taking anything too seriously because the second you do, the laughter fades.
• Filled with much less stress.
Life is about attitude. We can’t choose what happens to us, but we can choose how we react to it. Staying positive, happy, healthy and indulging in laughter will get you through anything. Spending a life well laughed means spending a life well lived and enjoyed.
I spend my days with moments of laughter. Moments turn to days and days turn to years. In the end, I’ll have my grand prize of life: A Life Well Laughed.
How is your life filled with laughter? What does a life well laughed mean to you?
