RN_10 Fun and Cheesy Ways to Feed the Family this Super Bowl Sunday_2.03.12

I love Super Bowl Sunday for two reasons – commercials and FOOD!

At my house we don’t cook a traditional dinner. Instead we (I) make a bunch of fun finger foods and the family picks at those all day. It’s the perfect time to relax, have fun and enjoy the game.

Here’s a collection of cheesy ideas that would be great additions to anyone’s Super Bowl spread…

Ultimate Guiltless Cheese Quesadilla

Make a few batches of these and serve with your favorite salsa. Using The Laughing Cow Light Queso Fresco & Chipotle Wedges helps lighten things up while adding tons of fun flavor!

Antipasto You Can’t Pass Up

The Laughing Cow Light French Onion Wedges, ham, salami, roasted red peppers, mushrooms? This has Super Bowl written all over it!

Bruschetta You Won’t Forgetta

My husband won’t eat anything called “Bruschetta.” Just put this out, watch it disappear and smile to yourself.

Bundled Bacon & Broccoli

Sneak in some veggies at your Super Bowl party! Who can resist them when they are wrapped in bacon and served with cheese!?

Crazy-Creamy Crab-Stuffed Mushrooms

Stuffed Mushrooms, need I say more? OK, I will… CHEESY Stuffed Mushrooms – even better!

Bedeviling Eggs

I tend to forget about Deviled eggs as an option. These are perfect for Super Bowl Sunday!

HG’s Gooey-Good Queso Dip ‘n Chips

I plan on serving this with more than just chips. It would also be great with carrots sticks, celery and even cucumber slices!

Blueberry Pistachio Cheese Bites

If you’re tired of preparing the same thing every year, try these to add a little fun and something different this year!

Simple Cheesy Salsa

Jazz up your standard salsa and make something ordinary into something cheesy (and lower-cal than most queso dips!).

Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll Ups

I have to make these when I have a house full of people or I’ll eat the whole batch myself!
