Nutritional Information

If you like turkey at Thanksgiving, you’ll be giving thanks for this idea the rest of the year. And since these burgers are small, feel free to gobble up an extra one or two. It’s a quick and easy recipe you’ll enjoy year ’round, so be sure to keep plenty of Mini Babybel® cheese on hand for when the craving comes on.

  • 2 whole Rounds Mini Babybel® Semisoft Cheese, Any Flavor
  • 8 ounces, weight Ground Turkey
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow Onion, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Each Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 4 whole King Hawaiian Sweet Rolls (or Any Parker House-style Rolls), Split
  • Mustard, Mayonnaise, Ketchup, Sliced Tomato, Red Onion, Lettuce, Pickle

Preheat oven to 350°.
Slice each cheese round in half lengthwise.
Combine ground turkey, onion, Worcestershire, salt & pepper in a small mixing bowl.
Portion mixture into four, 2-ounce rounds; (approximately golf ball size).
Divide each round into 2 pieces (yielding 8 total); slightly flatten into miniature patties.
Place a cheese halve atop 4 of the patties; top the cheese with the remaining ground turkey patties, (creating somewhat of a turkey-cheese sandwich cookie.)
Pinch the 2 layers of ground turkey together to securely seal the cheese inside. Reshape as needed to form 4 uniform burgers.
Heat a 10 inch, nonstick fry pan on medium low.
Add oil & heat for 1 minute.
Add turkey burgers; cook 2 minutes on each side; transfer burgers to a baking sheet & bake for 4 to 5 minutes.
Remove from oven and rest for 2 minutes.
Serve on mini sweet rolls and garnish with your favorite condiments.
