The secret to making great chicken is by finding a way to not make it taste like….chicken. Face it, we live in a world where everything tastes like chicken. Ever hear, “Hey, this tastes like chicken?” We thought so. This recipe will change all that. It’s a quick and easy dinner recipe that features one of your favorite snack cheeses: Mini Babybel®!


  • 2 whole Rounds Of Mini Babybe® Semisoft Cheese, Any Flavor
  • 2 whole Whole, Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 slices Deli Ham, Halved
  • 1 teaspoon Sun-dried Tomatoes, Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Shallot, Minced
  • 1 dash Kosher Salt, Freshly Ground Black Pepper


Preheat oven to 350°.
Position chicken breasts securely on a cutting board.
Using a sharp paring or boning knife, make a 3 inch slit in the side of each chicken breast, creating a pocket for filling. (Err on a smaller incision than a larger; you can always stretch the flesh to accommodate the filling.)
Slice cheese rounds in half lengthwise.
Place a cheese half on a 1/2 slice of deli ham.
Top with half the amount of sun-dried tomatoes & shallot.
Fold up sides of ham slice like a package.
Repeat with remaining ham & cheese.
Stuff each chicken pocket with 2 ‘packages’.
If necessary, secure chicken pocket with toothpicks.
Season with salt & pepper and position on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until chicken’s internal temperature reads 165° with an instant-read thermometer.
Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes.
Remove toothpicks (if using); serve warm.
