  • 2-¼ cups All Purpose Flour
  • 2-½ teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar
  • ¾ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 6 tablespoons (3/4 Stick) Cold Unsalted Butter, Cut Into 1/2 Inch Cubes
  • 6 pieces Mini Babybel® Sharp Original Cheese, Coarsely Grated
  • ½ cups Chives, Finely Chopped
  • 1 cup Well-shaken Buttermilk
  • 1 stick Butter, Softened
  • ½ cups Honey
  • ¼ pounds Sliced Smoked Ham Or Turkey


Preheat oven to 450°F. Whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl, and then blend in cold, cubed butter with your fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in the cheese and chives. Add buttermilk and stir until just combined. Form into golfball-sized balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake until golden, about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let stand until cool enough to handle. Meanwhile, whisk together the soft butter and honey. Slice biscuits in half, smear with honey butter, and place a slice of ham inside. Put the top back on the biscuit and enjoy the sweet and salty!
